Stockstill Rips Trump's Bad Example On Marriage & Women At the Oklahoma 1st District Republican Debate, Danny Stockstill of Tulsa was asked if he agreed with Sen. James Lankford; that Trump is not a good role model, as a father. Here is Stockstill's response, followed by Senator Nathan Dahm's. The remarks were made Tuesday night at the Tulsa Technology Center Lemley campus auditorium. Stockstill, a Baptist minister, businessman, and police chaplain; spoke in the role of a concerned father. He even went so far as to imply that he would take up arms to prevent his daughter from being exploited in the manner that Trump described treating women, in the 'live mic' Billy Bush tape that was part of the production of Access Hollywood. Those remarks were recorded secretly, in 2005. Senator Nathan Dahm's follow-up comments departed from Stockstill's position by contrasting current and more recent reports from those of more than a decade ago, when Trump was a leading figure in the entertainment industry. The Republican primary election is just 19 days from now. |
