Flu Victim Dies In Jail, On False DUI Charges

10/31/2019

Comments

Picture
Mike Hoeppner is dead because his double pneumonia from influenza was not treated. Instead, his poor driving was punished with a night in the jail 'drunk tank'; where he died without any medical treatment.
Picture
Atoka, OK -
A middle aged man was taken into custody on a 911 complaint that he was 'weaving' in traffic. A Highly trained DUI police officer from Tushka, OK was alerted and he promptly intercepted the driver. Officer Buddy Sanders jumped to his highly informed suspicion that The man was drunk or on illegal drugs. Mr. Hoeppner is heard on the police dashcam video, complaining of sickness and showed a shortness of breath. He was evidently traveling to Texas from his Wisconsin home.
Obviously a breathalyzer was not available or not sufficient to confirm the deputy's perceptions, so the suffering 60 year old man was taken to a local medical facility for a blood toxicology test.  But no other medical care was given to the man. Not even a medical exam or diagnosis.
It's unclear whether physicians were allowed to give any medical advice to the man or the cop who arrested him. The cop only wanted a blood toxicity test
The Tushka police deputy then booked Hoeppner into the Atoka County Jail. This put his life into the care of the unsuspecting jail detention officers.

Judge Declines Emergency Injunction against Gun Rights, Rally At Capitol On Friday.

10/31/2019

Comments

With a November 1st effective date, a few Democrat leftists went to court to attempt to block the implementation of the newly restored civil right of self defense.
Rep. Jason Lowe fought to block the civil right by first attempting a citizen referendum petition. The group who helped this tactic fell very short of the 59,000 they needed.
Then Lowe claimed in a court petition that the state's constitutional 'single subject' rule was violated because more than one named personal defense armament was stated.
A District Court Judge denied a preemptive injunction while the lawsuit is litigated; Lowe said he would seek an emergency appeal by the Oklahoma Supreme Court on Halloween Day (today).
Lowe's suit remains in place and citizens may ultimately lose this legal battle. But it's a thinly-veiled political tactic to stop a movement of the people to reassert constitutional law and civil rights.
It remains to be seen whether Rep. Lowe will be ultimately be charged with Barratry (abuse of the court system).
Don Spencer gives a short video recap on the Injunction against the Constitutional Carry Law.
On Friday morning there will be a rally at the South pavilion of the state capitol. Participants can lawfully (& constitutionally) carry arms on the capitol grounds on that day. But the fight isn't over. Rep. Lowe's legal team still has a date in court.

'Deep State' Wasn't Built In A Day

10/30/2019

Comments

The methodical process of exposing Deep State is moving at a snail's pace. Four years ago the very catch phrase was the surest way to get one labeled as a kook. Then Rush Limbaugh told Chris Wallace during Trump's first month in office, that the problem is real. There is an effort of the career operatives in D.C. to limit or destroy any elected official who stands in the way.

Enter Donald Trump..
The most unlikely president in American history came into office without owing the political establishment anything. His enemies were in both political powers, going back to the 1950s. Only two presidents in the last 50 years defied the hideous forces of the D.C. beltway. Ronald Reagan, who was gravely wounded within weeks of taking office; and Donald Trump.
GOP Deep State
It's not that other candidates didn't try to run for office. Sen. Barry Goldwater was destroyed politically by his primary foe, Nelson Rockefeller. The Rockefeller family dominated east coast politics with allies like Gov. George Romney of Michigan (Mitt's father), and Sen. Prescott Bush of Connecticut (Bush41's father). The trio sought to discredit Ronald Reagan ever since the actor sought the governorship of California.

Gun Rights Group Prepares Civil Rights Lawsuits Against Tulsa Police

10/29/2019

Comments

This morning, Don Spencer of OK2A told KFAQ's Pat Campbell Show that his legal team is preparing legal action against multiple law enforcement officers, the City of Tulsa, RiverParks Trust, and perhaps others unnamed.
On Friday, Oct. 18th, President Don Spencer of OK2A decided to attend the OctoberFest event  at The RiverWest public park. The event is put on by a private sector group who rents the exclusive rights to the particular festival facility which the City of Tulsa operates.
Current state law clearly specifies that such parks operated by trust authorities in Oklahoma cannot infringe on such civil rights as the Federal 2nd Amendment's self defense clause regarding a right to keep & bear arms.
Spencer said he was first confronted by some fake Tulsa Police personnel who presented themselves in apparel which clearly stated they are Tulsa Police. When Spencer, who kept his 'badge cam' recorder on, asked for badge numbers and names, they finally admitted that they are not presently serving on the Tulsa Police Dept, but are either temporary staff  of the private event or are park dept. employees.

Chairman Schiff Flees With Testifying Witness

by Rep. Kevin Hern
This morning, Congressman Markwayne Mullin and I requested access to the non-classified transcript of Ambassador Volker’s testimony. We were turned away. This impeachment process is moving forward in darkness and without the participation of a single member of the Oklahoma delegation. Every one of us - including myself - needs to keep putting pressure on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi & Adam Schiff to let the American people know what the facts are.
Eastern Oklahoma's 2 Congressmen, filed this video report on today's secret tribunal.

OKGOP Budget Committee To Meet Amid Financial Mess

10/23/2019

Comments

Nov. 1st Meeting Set.

Picture
Just 24 hours after OKGOP Vice Chair, Mike Turner, publicly called for a special meeting of the OKGOP Budget Committee. Chairman David McLain finally called the committee into their 2nd meeting of the new administration.
On Friday night, November 1st, the committee will meet at the State GOP headquarters, in OKC.  Several party members are asking that a budget be presented to the presiding State Committee of the OKGOP as soon as possible, to restore some trust with donors about proper spending.
The party chairman divulged to KFAQ radio that more than $16,000 of credit card debt has amassed, including 2 east coast trips to National party meetings where McLain had the OKGOP pay for his wife & a staffer to come along. The OKGOP does not normally pay for these unnecessary expenses and in fact requires that the two Oklahoma Committee members, (Steve Curry & Carolyn McLarty) to pay for their own travel, lodging, & meals; for these meetings.
The budget committee was supposed to be active by early June, to propose a budget and authorize sending when the State Committee held their Summer meeting (usually in late June).
But the committee members were still being recruited last August, and only met for the first time, just "two nights prior" to the August meeting.
The membership of the Budget Committee is still not published, despite assurances that it would be.  Some members' inclusion is in question, and Chairman Gary Jones has told SoonerPolitics that he stepped down from the Chairmanship of the group, but is willing to stay on as a member.

OKGOP Vice Chair Calls For Budget Action

10/22/2019

Comments

Last night we were contacted by a member of the OKGOP Budget Committee member about the continued lack of action to comprise an essential budget for the state Republican Party, as required by the permanent  party organizational rules.
Seth Rott, of OKC, said that it's currently unclear who has the authority to call such a meeting of this committee to order? The committee was supposed to be set within 60 days of the April 6th State convention. That committee does not appear to have been appointed until Mid August (about 2 months late).  Former State Auditor,Gary Jones, chaired the first & only meeting, in mid August. At that time they determined that the budget could not be compiled until perhaps November, and it was decided that the first proposed budget would be for the 2020 calendar year.
Jones Gave a serious warning to the August meeting of the Presiding State Committee, just 2 days after that one & only Budget meeting. He cited a $12,000 credit card debt as of the end of July.
Shortly after, Jones told Sooner Politics that he's resigned the chairmanship but remains a member of the budget committee.

VIDEO: Tulsa Cops Defy State Law, Threaten Arrest of OK2A President

10/18/2019

Comments

Don Spencer of Oklahoma Second Amendment Association published a video of several Tulsa Police who defiantly prohibited him for park access with his self defense arms concealed. He pleasantly visited with at least 6 uniformed personnel at the OctoberFest on RiverParks.
He showed (and attempted to show) several officers that the law bans tenants leasing the parks from denying citizens the right to defend their lives & safety with constitutional arms which remain otherwise concealed.
Additionally, several individuals claiming to be retired police officers with no active badges were wearing uniforms which unlawfully claim to be Tulsa Police, even though they have no police dept. commission from the city.
Spencer is eventually threatened with arrest by an officer who refused to take his questions and only after persistent request did the defiant officer give his name and badge number.

The Real Reason 'Moto' Is In Jail

10/17/2019

Comments

Ray Adam 'Moto' Modisette was just arrested in the Oklahoma County  govt building, while on his way to a county budget meeting. *
He is charged last summer with unlawfully transporting a loaded weapon in his vehicle. The statutory penalty is a $75 citation.
So why is Moto in the county jail?
He told me about this 'bench warrant' a month ago. He said his constitutional right to keep and bear arms cannot be infringed and the cops are guilty of a constitutional crime.
I didn't disagree with his constitutional points. But I did dispute his actions.
When a legislature makes a bad law, They are the enemy of the constitution and have violated their oath of office. That's who should be hauled before a judge.
But when a cop reads the unconstitutional statute and orders you to either pay a fine or make your argument to the court, You have an appointment with destiny. Embrace it.

'Alt Media' Cited By McLain, For Party Problems

10/17/2019

Comments

Pat Campbell interviewed embattled OKGOP chairman, David McLain, about the financial turmoil of the party.

Picture
State Chairman McLain says;
  • that Vice Chair, Mike Turner broke the rules by not dealing privately with disputes, & must resign.
  • utilities were never threatened at the state office.
  • fundraising is about the same or better than previous administrations.
  • he's done 50-70 hours a week at no pay or gasoline reimbursement.
  • "Our books are wide open. Anyone can come into this office, look at the books, do what they need to do."
  • 'alt metia' are the 'profiteers' who are among us.
  • all the party financial records are open to the public.
  • that unnamed 'alt media' want to control the chairman's office and the legislature.
  • he wants to expose the alt media, but refuses to name anyone.
  • a state executive committee meeting will be called very soon.
Picture
State Vice Chair, Mike Turner says;
  • McLain has not kept his spending subject to a budget set by the Budget committee & State Committee.
  • The RNC has wired an emergency $20,000 cash infusion into the state office, as a result of the media interview he did, earlier in the week.
  • Until the party's state committee passes a budget to reign in spending, the reliable party benefactors are hesitant to give beyond the several thousands they have already donated.
  • McLain has not followed through on his word in several direct commitments that the two have agreed upon.
  • He went directly to members of the state central committee in August, to address the concerns over failures by McLain.

Our take...

Neither narrative seems to give a full picture of the current financial health of the party.
McLain's press release of last night only mentions the $20k in a party bank acct. Today he said; "All bill are paid". But later in the interview he said that; "in 30-45 days we will be out of debt.". So which is it?
Turner did not indicate a $20k bank asset. When I mentioned it to him last night, he said that it "was a wired bailout from the RNC which just came in after his media interviews were done.".
It seems like a good time for a "Gary Jones Audit".

OKGOP Chair & Vice Chair Call for Each Other's Resignation

10/16/2019

Comments

by David Van Risseghem
The promised 'unity team' that Oklahoma Republicans voted into office last April, have now filed for a divorce, of sorts.
Tulsa's former county chairman, David McLain; decided to throw his hat in the ring last January. He'd served one term in party office and had connected with the Stitt campaign just a couple months earlier.
Edmond's Mike Turner had served one term in the legislature. He'd been deeply involved in the national Trump campaign and has deep ties with his legislative colleagues, many of whom are in leadership.
McLain has been involved with faith groups and especially political organizations reflecting those values.
Turner comes from a successful family business legacy and is well connected with the business communities in Oklahoma, as well as national political organizers working for Trump.
They started well. Each focused on specific duties. Turner worked on legislative relations and GOP policies as they reflect on current legislation. McLain set up the state party office and connections with county GOP organizations.
Then came the summer and the silence between the two. In late July, some were noticing the dysfunction. A Central Committee meeting was held and all seemed well. Some concessions were agreed to by both of them. But then came the financial news.
Picture
Turner & McLain, immediately after the convention. I got to take the only post-election photo of the leadership team, immediately after adjournment of the April State Convention.

Rep. Dean Davis Pleads 'Not Guilty' to Felony DUI

10/11/2019

Comments

If Davis is found guilty of a felony, he is immediately expelled from office, by constitutional mandate.

Early last August, freshman lawmaker, Dean Davis of Broken Arrow, was arrested on a dark stretch of road in deep south Broken Arrow. The event was not recorded and Davis refused to provide samples for alcohol toxicity tests.
It's not his first DUI charges, so, DA Steve Kunzweiler filed felony charges, given his previous guilty plea, years ago.
The only solid evidence is the many phone calls Davis made in the few hours after his detainment. Other than that, it'll be a matter of who is more believable, to the district court.  Next court date in Oct. 28th.
The OSCN.net journal records this latest entry:
JUDGE DAVID GUTEN: DEFENDANT PRESENT, NOT IN CUSTODY, AND REPRESENTED BY BRUCE EDGE. ARRAIGNMENT HELD. DEFENDANT WAIVES READING OF THE INFORMATION AND FURTHER TIME TO PLEAD. DEFENDANT ENTERS A PLEA OF NOT GUILTY. PRELIMINARY HEARING SET FOR 10-28-19 @ 9 AM IN 344. BOND TO REMAIN. DEFENDANT RECOGNIZED BACK.

Purdue Opioid Settlement Worked Out For Oklahoma

10/11/2019

Comments

The check cleared the bank months before Purdue filed bankruptcy.

Last night I visited briefly with Dr Jason Beaman of OSU Medical College. Beeman was & is instrumental in AG Mike Hunter's crusade against pharmaceutical corporations. He offered some insights on the special settlement deal made between our state AG's office & Purdue Pharmaceutical.
Last winter, AG Mike Hunter announced that Purdue settled out of court  with his legal team. According to the terms, Purdue claimed no culpability in any of the charges, but agreed to charitably fund a drug rehab program in Oklahoma. According to the terms, Purdue is a benefactor in a new drug rehab program created & run by the OSU Tulsa Medical School & Regional Hospital, in Tulsa. The one-time lump sum funding that Purdue agreed to amounted to $270 million dollars.
So, last night I asked Beeman a few questions about his civic involvement. He said that he often is called to testify in lawsuits. He did agree to help the AG's office in the lawsuits involving Purdue and the landmark ruling against Johnson & Johnson.  The latter case involved massive damages awarded to the state, but that case will be tied up in appeals and may drag out for years.

Alex Allen: "Voting No On Maps4, Because I Love OKC"

10/11/2019

Picture
If a public project or initiative brings a tangible utility to the community that is paying for it, all is well.  Evidently Oklahoma City was satisfied with the MAPS projects; after the first two, they approved a third.  Now, we’re being asked to approve a fourth initiative, which goes to the ballot on December 10th.

This one seeks to raise a staggering $978 million via a ‘temporary’ penny sales tax.  It will leave the present rate unchanged, as it’s replacing a different tax that is expiring next year.  This wouldn’t be so bad if the project represented a real improvement to Oklahoma City.  It’s only a penny!

Then again, it would represent a diversion of $978 million out of the economy into places it would not have gone naturally.  No small sum, and especially egregious, in this instance: of the 16 proposals that make up MAPS 4, only a few are remotely valuable to Oklahoma City at large.  In the interest of space, I won’t describe all of them, but there is some worth mentioning:
