Readers Tell Stories of Vaccine Distrust

12/27/2021

Comments

Personal human liberty is a strong argument against vacine mandates. But for the moment, let's have a medical discussion.
SoonerPolitics is sharing stories from readers about the vaccine decisions that their household faces. we'd like to hear from more of you. Please comment or email your family perspectives and experiences. We'd love to add your own perspectives for future publications.
For most folks it comes down to a risk/benefit assessment. To that end, if a treatment is not properly tested and/or found to not meet it's own claims, then the reliability & integrity of the medical authorities is harmed greatly.
If the harms from the treatment exceed the initial warnings, then folks will not only stop further treatments, but be less trusting in the future.
The govt. is supposed to be a watchdog over the pharma industry, but they've become a cheerleader for big pharma and appear to be covering up important risk data.
Picture
Our societies are becoming vastly divided between the statists who comply with edicts because they don't want to be seen as a lawbreaker. But several are refusing to comply simply for principled reasons of human liberty. Others are adding specific medical reasons for refusing a vaccine.

2021 Citizen of the Year: Liza Greve

12/23/2021

Comments

Picture
The COTY committee of SoonerPolitics is pleased to announce our 2021 Citizen of the Year, Liza Greve.  Liza is a founder & executive director of Oklahomans for Health & Parental Rights.
The grassroots group has been especially active in the past 6 years;
  • advocating for parental authority to properly care for their children without govt. interference.
  • educating the public and elected officials about the realistic limitations and risks associated with medical therapies.
  • helping parents understand their rights and responsibilities.
Human rights have been under a severe attack from government officials and in the marketplace. This is nothing new for some folks whose health requires special care and responsible management.  Some are developing children, and others have complexed and difficult decisions where there is no clear & safe option.
This current threat to human rights is especially onerous to children. They are statistically the least vulnerable to a covid fatality, yet their bodies are very much endangered by the blood clotting dangers of the experimental gene therapies.  The advocates of OKHPR are even more passionate about their children's health & wellbeing than for themselves.
Picture
Picture
Until this year, only parents of small children seemed to pay attention to vaccine policies. But when a new gene therapy was rushed to implementation without proper approval, many Oklahomans started asking questions. Sadly, the medical establishment was largely dismissive or worse. That's when OKHPR took on a much larger role than the previous 5 years.
Previously, Liza grassroots group was mostly parents of young children. Many significant reforms on child vaccine policy were a result of the hard work of the scores of young parents who worked together as OKHPR.
This year, OKHPR gained scores of professional healthcare workers, older citizens with health challenges, and employees concerned about the mandate to permanently alter their RNA in order to keep their jobs.
Liza Greve's work is far from complete. She has the agreement of Gov. Kevin Stitt & Speaker Charles McCall; to convene the legislature in special session for consideration of bills to protect employ health autonomy. It seems only Senate President Pro Temp, Greg Treat is blocking such legislative action.
"In just a few short years, Liza & her group have become a powerhouse at the state Capitol. They are one of the foremost groups pushing liberty in our state. They've helped remove RINOs from office & passed legislation to protect the rights of the people. I've been honored to work with them fighting for theses causes. Her leadership is exemplary & she is very deserving of this honor."
- Nathan Dahm, State Senator
"I cannot think of any Oklahoman who has done more for promoting and defending medical freedom. I am grateful to Liza and her organization for effectively disseminating information and for 'rallying the troops'."
-Wendi Stearman, State representative
"Liza Greve & her team have built one of the most effective grassroots organizations in Oklahoma. What they've done has inspired similar groups around the country. I heartily congratulate her for receiving this well-deserved honor."
-Porter Davis, former State Representative
"It has become patently obvious over the last two years that the natural and codified rights of bodily autonomy and parenting are under attack.  Although new to many, this is not a new battle. Liza, and the organization she leads, has defended these rights for years, well before it was popular.  These efforts deserve recognition."
-David Oldham, Constitutional Scholar
Of the four recipients who've been recognized as 'Citizen of the Year' since we began the tradition in 2018, all of them are  keen to utilize the principle of collaboration for extending human rights. OK2A President, Don Spencer (2019 COTY recipient), has worked extensively with OKHPR and other causes.  Attorneys Frank Urbanic and Ron Durbin have been active in the courtrooms, legislative chambers, and agency boardrooms.
Even when good statutes are passed, state agencies have frequently surpassed or stifled the intent of the lawmakers(as Ron Durbin demonstrated in 2018). Sometimes a litigation is needed, as was the case last year when Frank Urbanic prevailed to end the governor's edict which would have bankrupted hundreds of restaurants and taverns, and put thousands of employees out of work.
All of the COTY recipients have gone far beyond collaborating with lawmakers. They deal with state agencies and even advocate in courtroom litigation when needed.  They also help form the electoral process by backing fellow advocates who seek elective and appointed offices.
SoonerPolitics is honored to be a part of honoring some of Oklahoma's great advocates for liberty.

- David Van Risseghem, Chairman of the COTY committee for SoonerPolitics.

D.A. Prater Files One Last Political Attack: Speaker Pro Temp

12/21/2021

Comments

Oklahoma's most controversial (and powerful) district attorney, David Prater; has set his aim on a member of the Oklahoma House leadership.
Rep. Terry O'Donnell has been officially ordered to stand in criminal trial.  But you'd have to do a deep dive into the several pages filed, in order to find the one pivotal claim:
Did the 6-term lawmaker meet the state constitutional requirement to notify his colleagues of a personal benefit from a filed bill?  His inlaws have owned and operated a motor vehicle tag agency in Catoosa, OK for decades. O'Donnell is uniquely qualified to develop workable reforms and modernization policies for the hundreds of such local state agencies across the state.  Several such bills were filed every session for nearly 100 years.
The same constitution also delegates to the legislative bodies all authority to develop rules and procedures for complying with the constitutional mandates.

Oklahoma Death Tolls Drop Below Legacy Rates - Covid Fizzles As A Death Threat

12/19/2021

Comments

As the Covid Pandemic mutates to further, Oklahoma is now in a safer era than the average risk.
The Oklahoma Health Dept issues a weekly report which helps put the current crisis in to better perspective (if you know where to look).  While the obsession remains focused on a narrative that only a full regimen of monthly vaccines can save humanity, if you delve further, you'll find more data.  On page 15 we find this chart which shows that Oklahomans die at a rate of near 900, during the 'flu season'. But not just from influenza.
It's no secret that folks with very vulnerable health complications are the most likely to succumb to a major viral infection.  the top 5 complications impacting Covid-19 fatalities are:
  1. Chronic heart or circulatory disease (33.2%)
  2. Diabetes (20.9%)
  3. Chronic lung failure (13.6%)
  4. Chronic renal failure (10.5%)
  5.  Chronic liver failure (1.7%)
It's also important to acknowledge that death reports lag behind commonly by 7-14 days. So the Dec. 11th data is not complete.  But what's clearly trending is that Covid is now not causing 'excess deaths' beyond the common fatality rate prior to the Covid era.
Picture
2 months ago, Oklahoma was in an 'excess death' condition. By Thanksgiving that era appears to have ended.

The Absurdity of False Conservative Litmus Tests

12/15/2021

Comments

Conflating strategy with values, or lack thereof.

On an Oklahoma conservative facebook group, I recently ran into a post that equated a failure to cooperate with a specific but unexplained boycott effort as being 'part of the problem'.
Picture
Picture
The 'problem' isn't defined, just equated.
I foolishly decided to stick my neck out for the mob of executioners to make a strawman out of me. How, by deigning to question where this is going. Here's my comment...
Why stop there?
- If you have a cellphone, you're part of the problem.
- If you have a social security number, you're part of the problem...
- If you have city water, you're part of the problem.
- If you can't see my attempt to use absurdity, you're definitely part of the problem.
See, there's no end to the practice of making your pet issue a litmus test for another person's patriotism, godliness, or any other virtue.
How about making a case for why you want group cooperation with your strategy, and respect others' decisions on how to deal with perceived vices and corruptions.
We won't always agree on chosen strategies, but that's not the same as having conflicting values.

Arizona Lawmakers Release 'Smoking Gun' In 2020 Election Fraud Conspiracy

12/15/2021

Comments

The Federal Justice Department appears to be at least an accessory to an unprecedented election fraud plot. Media outlets appear to also be at least giving 'cover' to the plot. Fox News Channel's news dept. is the most obvious player in national media efforts to suppress any narrative of corruption by county and state election agencies.
The conspiracy narrative would add about 100k fake votes to the statewide Democrat slate. Trump only lost by 10k and McSally lost the US Senate race by 80k.
These are the main takeaways of yesterday's 'bombshell' letter, released by the Arizona legislature.
Arizona state Rep. Mark Finchem, read the letter. It was dated November 10, 2020, and addressed to the Criminal Division of the DOJ.
"In a meeting I was invited to by the Democrat party in Pima County, Arizona on September 10, 2020, no phones or recording devices were allowed. A presentation was given including detailed plans to embed 35,000 votes in a spread configured distribution to each Democrat candidate’s vote totals."
Picture
The 'smoking gun' letter from a Democrat whistleblower details how state officials will not have the political will to investigate the crime to the degree necessary to uncover the full scope of the criminal operation. And candidates will not have the money needed to pay for the cost of a complete recount & recanvass.

Leading Physician: "The Entire Medical Community Failed to Create Early Treatment Protocol For Covid-19"

12/14/2021

Comments

The editor of a leading medical journal, Dr. Peter McCullough; spoke with the world's top podcaster, Joe Rogan, yesterday.
Among the 'bombshell' indictments he shared was the complete absence of the medical community to develop an early, outpatient treatment protocol for those infected with the Covid-19 coronavirus. To make matters worse, the leading medical guidelines only wrote inpatient protocols, leading inept medical boards to deduce that certain treatments were therefor banned unless a person is admitted into a hospital for covid care.
This led to bans on Monoclonal Antibody treatments, Hydroxychloroquine, and Ivermectin. But the pioneer innovators who first discovered these effective treatments clearly published that early treatment is essential to the effectiveness. Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine were readily available for 'off-label' treatment of viral infections, until the new protocols for covid-19 were issued.
The takeover of most local medical clinics by the big hospital chains is yet another compounding of the problem. These hospital chains threaten to fire physicians who fail to drive business to the local hospitals. The clinics are reduced to 'loss leaders' where he hospitals can make up the losses once a person is in the hospital.

FDA & Postal Service Begin Ivermectin Confiscation From Individuals

12/14/2021

Comments

The U.S. Postal Service(USPS) and the U.S. Food & Drug Administration(FDA) are now snooping in your mail, and confiscating select items, such as Ivermectin. Despite the FDA previously declaring Ivermectin among the top 3 safest drugs in their database, and Ivermectin being credited with saving more lives of Covid-19 patients than any other drug; It's now being presumed to be contraband.  There appears to be a list of technicalities being utilized to justify the totalitarian actions. One such technicality is if the product does not have human dosing instructions which comply with FDA formatting rules. Remember, this drug is safer than aspirin.
In the embedded attachment below, we included the letter and transcription from a civil rights attorney, Aaron Siri. He posted to his Twitter acct a photo of a letter sent to a person in Lamy, New Mexico, who was told that his 200 tablets of Ivermectin will be destroyed by the USPS because the FDA tells them to.

Oklahoma's Covid Crisis Made Worse By Obesity

12/13/2021

Comments

Oklahoma is the 6th most Obese State, With the 6th Deadliest Covid Impact.
If you're still looking down at New York for their deadly Covid legacy, Oklahoma is now worse.  This is according to the Johns Hopkins pandemic database, as compiled by CNN's news dept.
In fact, the worst hit states (adjusted for population) include Mississippi, Alabama, & Louisiana.  Those states just also happen to be the most obese states in the nation.
To validate these findings we took the findings of a marketing research firm, a life insurance research firm, and compiled them with the Johns Hopkins fatality data.
Sure, there are an endless list of other factors which put other states in the 'Ten Worst', like New York's nursing home death chambers which were created by Gov. Cuomo's edict.

Sweden's Covid Policy Outcomes Are Far Exceeding the U.S.

12/10/2021

Comments

Sweden has a lower death rate, lower spread, and less suppression of daily life. Those are a few of the results of our research, using the Johns Hopkins Medical database.
The Covid-19 "China Virus" has ravaged the entire globe for two years. But various civilizations have responded very differently. It would be appropriate to take a closer, comparative look at what policies gave better results.
Sweden stood out from most of the 'western world' for its immediate rollout of a NON-LOCKDOWN policy.  The epidemiologists of Sweden made an early determination that only the elderly and other frail citizens were in serious danger. Everyone else was going to catch this latest cold (yes, the common cold is a coronavirus).
  • Schools and preschools remained open.
  • Only massive indoor gatherings were suppressed.
  • Retail shops and government services continued normal operations.
  •  Sweden never required masks, and eventually quit even suggesting them.
  • Vaccines are not required by law.

Mike Hunter's Corruption & Attacks On Gov. Stitt

12/10/2021

Comments

In a $60 million lawsuit, former cabinet secretary, David Ostrowe claims that disgraced former Oklahoma Attorney General Mike Hunter targeted Ostrowe's political assassination and imprisonment, simply for Ostrowe's loyalty to Gov. Kevin Stitt.
In a Tulsa World article, Barbara Hoberock details a tawdry narrative of Hunter's jealousy, infidelity, and blind ambition to take down Gov. Stitt and become his successor.
But while all this plotting evolved, Hunter was carrying on an extramarital affair with a woman in high position at the Oklahoma Dept. of Health. Ostrowe advised Gov. Stitt against appointing her as the next Commissioner of Health. This just painted a bigger target on Ostrowe's back.  Hunter then orchestrated a criminal indictment of Ostrowe, forcing his departure from Stitt's team.
But Stitt's team began quietly conducting their own investigations and started calling on the OSBI to do the same. Several judges and agency personnel faced scrutiny. Some judges resigned and now face corruption charges of their own.

Tulsa Republican Mens Club Grows, Elects Officers

12/8/2021

Comments

Ten years ago, Oklahoma's only Republican Mens Club was about to dissolve. About a dozen or so members remained of the group which once was led by Frank Keating, Dewey Barlett sr., Jim Inhofe, and others.  In the 1970s & 80s, this club was the energy & brains of a conservative takeover of Oklahoma govt. leadership.
Today the municipal activist group is nearing 100 attendees at their lunchtime monthly meetings. The club now grants full membership to Republican women and works in concert with about a half dozen other Tulsa area conservative groups, on issues and elections.
Today, a local preacher sought to take over the presidency of the group, but was soundly defeated. Rev. Bill Shepherd and his wife, Melissa; ran for president and secretary. But in both races, the vote was a crushing defeat.
SoonerPolitics monitored the voting and ballot count. the process was repeatedly interrupted by Melissa Shepherd's insistence that she inspect and capture video of each ballot. She even grabbed ballots off the election judges' table when the tabulators refused to hold each ballot up to her own cellphone, as they processed and tallied every entry.

Crenshaw Rebuts Claim That House Republicans Voted 'For' Vaccine Database

12/4/2021

Comments

Texas Republican Congressman, Dan Crenshaw, took to social media forums this weekend to answer the charge that 80 Republican congressional members voted to create a national vaccine database.
Picture
Crenshaw says that the legislation was actually created by Republican members and  was worded in such a way to prevent the abuse of state health dept. data, which could have been used in an Orwellian effort to erect a 'big brother' list of who is in compliance with mandates.
Crenshaw says this legislation was broadly mischaracterized as a power grab by 'vaccine nazis'.
Sooner Politics published a report from multiple national media sources which sought to simplify the massive spending proposal.
The report from Crenshaw is our effort to fully inform our readers of the various perspectives coming from the House Republican Caucus.
There is going to be more debate on this issue and we'll do our best to follow it.
The bill is still a federal effort to fund state agencies. It still subsidizes states who are bloated with big govt. agencies and billions of dollars in debt.
It still takes money from Oklahomans and redistributes it according to the priorities and biases of the Democrats in congressional leadership and the Biden Administration.

Lucas & Cole Vote For HR550 'Federal Vaccine Database'

12/2/2021

Comments

The Democrat effort to nationalize the work of state health departments to create a database of personal vaccine histories; HR550 - Immunization Infrastructure Modernization Act; got the support of 2 of Oklahoma's 5 House members.
Tom Cole & Frank Lucas voted 'Yes' to spend half a billion dollars on the project which would allow the federal govt. to monitor each citizen's participation in scores of vaccines and other medical treatments.
Oklahoma's State Health Dept already has this program which allows citizens to either report their vaccines to the state database, or receive the vaccines directly from the state agency.
This redundancy on the federal level will result in state records becoming the property of federal agencies.
Armed with this data, govt health agencies could plausibly tie federal benefits to a family's participation, undergoing mandated treatments or seeking the possible waivers via forms, submitting more personal health records, and perhaps having to seek appeal hearings.
