Is the U.S. In A Civil War?

8/18/2020

Comments

The insurrectionists control many American cities, where nearly half the population lives.

The civil unrest in many US cities is not without a great deal of orchestration from opportunists and marxists.   This spring they launched a war on the nation.  The Antifa marxist totalitarian fascists are at war, but the US states and federal govt. is not yet at war with the insurrectionists.
The civil unrest largely follows the electoral maps from the 2018 congressional elections. Anywhere in the USA where leftists enjoy more than 60%  support at the polling places, the insurrectionists have set up shop and have begun stirring up unrest through marches and protests. But those constitutionally protected activities have turned into vandalism,  blockades, violent assaults, murders, fires, explosions, and outright occupations of the seats of power in city & state govts.
Perhaps only after the November elections will we see the real war begin?  the Antifa/BLM inc. orchestrators hope the political right continues to ignore the grave threat and pretend it's all a bad dream.

The population centers across the USA are divided by ideology, and radicals are exploiting the divide to advance an insurrection.

My Covid Isolation Weekend

8/17/2020

Comments

by David Van Risseghem.
Last Wednesday I unknowingly began an ordeal of firsthand experience with a pandemic risk. I was having an informal meeting with a longtime political contact.  OKGOP Chair, David McLain asked to visit with me on Wednesday afternoon, at a Tulsa metro area restaurant.  He was unaware of a sick family member and he'd just visited that person.

On Thursday morning I got an early call & message to call David McLain.  Within the hour I made contact and he recounted his own notification of the family member's illness and positive diagnosis.  McLain said he'd been enroute to the OKGOP headquarters in the OKC metro area, but had immediately turned around, to get tested and return home to Skiatook.

Beatdowns From 'Mostly Peaceful' Riots In Portland

8/17/2020

Comments

Picture
Violent BLM rioters allegedly beat a man in Portland last night, kicking and punching him in the head, after he reportedly defended someone that had been attacked.
It started with a downtown 'rally', sponsored by "Black Lives Matter, inc.". the speakers on the downtown stage openly called for a race war and revolution.   The crowd cheered and chanted.  The movement is endorsed by most every major professional sports franchise. This indoctrination of incited violence is called "mostly peaceful, by the Portland and national media.

Then the group started attacking a mentally ill woman. A young white man came to her aid and he was beaten by the mob for his 'samaritan' efforts.

WARNING: Graphic violence

Jobs Migration To Conservative States Increases Intensity

8/12/2020

Comments

In mid summer of 2020, Tesla Auto became the first large scale manufacturer to announce their migration from the west coast to the south central US, for better economic conditions for doing business.
But the concept has been in place for at least a decade, because of the choking effect of socialist states on the very job-creating industries which welfare state rely upon.
The same impact is happening in 'rust belt states and the northeast, which also imposed socialist tax schemes on the job-creating industries.

Tulsa BLM Street Graffiti Get's 'Thin Blue Line' Counter Graffiti

8/9/2020

Comments

UPDATED: More Yellow Paint Applied.

In what appears to be a counter protest by supporters of Oklahoma peace officers, there is now a new addition to the street graffiti on Greenwood Avenue, in downtown Tulsa.
Citizens have complained for well over a month that the illegal defacing of public streets has led to a culture of mob rule and disrespect for lawful order, public safety, and taxpayer-funded assets.
Some are surprised that more street graffiti has not popped up around Tulsa and our tribal lands. In fact, tribes may very well assert their right to painting their own street graffiti on outside the casinos and other tribal lots. How would the city council and police prosecute anyone for doing the very thing that Mayor Bynum has ordered to remain, even without an act of  the city council or any of the zoning committees who ordinarily would hear such proposals for variances like what has twice been disregarded?
We will now watch how the city leaders posture. Councilor Cass Fahler's facebook had no public condemnations of the massive graffiti defacing of public streets on June 19th. Yet, today, he's among the first to lecture all of us about the much less invasive addition to the previous graffiti.

Oklahoma Republicans Face A Takeover Attempt By Washington GOP Delegation

8/8/2020

Comments

On Saturday, August 15th, Oklahoma Republicans will finally meet for their Quadrennial convention which was postponed from last spring.  Some of the pressing matters were addressed in an online convention session on June 20th, just hours before President Trump arrived in the state for a Tulsa rally. The National Convention delegation was decided, as were our final nominees for presidential elector.  But some overdue issues are still pressing. Some of them will fundamentally change the state GOP and remove governing authority from the citizens who are members of the party.
Most troubling is State Party Rule Change #5.
The Oklahoma congressional delegation to Washington DC are presumed to be the driving force to take away the grassroots party structure and hand it to whomever gets elected to congress or the state capitol.  GOP congressional members will each get to appoint a representative to a newly reformed executive committee. that committee will then hire an executive director who answers to the executive committee.  The current presiding body (the 400+ members of the State Committee) will cease to direct the party in most matters.  The State Party Chairman will also become a meaningless office, and the professional politicians and their appointees take over the control of the party, messaging, platform content, and spending.

8 Political Debate Secrets, by Ben Shapiro

8/8/2020

Comments

The renown conservative journalist, Ben Shapiro, provides some great debate coaching for political settings.
Picture
Please take the few minutes to watch this incredible video of Ben Shapiro's 8 Debate Tips.

1. Is this debate even worth it?
2. Know your debate opponent. What are they about?
3. Disarm your opponent's most unfair debate tactics.
4. Frame the terms of the debate. (specifications, definitions, loaded questions, etc).
5. Know what is known & what is not known. Defer to get back to the discussions once you've had time to study their facts.
6. Defend ideas & principles, not individuals.
7. Demand clarification of terms. Don't allow blurring of concepts. Be very clear on terminology.
8. Argue from fundamental principles.

Tulsa Honors Slave Owner By Naming 'Greenwood Avenue'

8/6/2020

Comments

When Tulsa's early municipal leaders sought a name for the avenue on the eastern side of the young city,  they needed to select a US city, east of the Mississippi River, beginning with the letter 'G'.

Given Oklahoma's tribal roots, Greenwood was the agreed name and for over 100 years that is the official designation. The Tulsa World documented the research of the street name.
In the early days of the United States, a Frenchman married a Choctaw  woman and Greenwood LeFlore was born. He became the principal chief and negotiated many treaties with Andrew Jackson & other US leaders. Eventually Greenwood LeFlore became a US Citizen and opted not to relocate in Oklahoma. He gave up his tribal leadership role and became a Mississippi State Senator. His closest political ally was Jefferson Davis, the eventual president of the Confederate States of America.

Greenwood LeFlore owned a massive cotton plantation in Greenwood Mississippi. He owned and abused several dozen black slaves. Even after giving up leadership of the Choctaws, he remained very influential over foreign relations between the tribe and the  USA & CSA.

Let the Street Murals Be Great Again

8/5/2020

Comments

Once again the wheels of justice in Tulsa are at a grinding halt.  Activists are being rewarded for flouting the law and taking matters into their own hands.
The cowards at city hall  ignored the brazen acts of graffiti artists who  marked territory on the eve of the big Trump rally, June 20th.
So when do other great Americans get to post inspirational encouragement? When will life coaching utilize the ground under our feet while adding an additional layer of protective pavement coating without charging the taxpayers a dime.
Now there's a sensible limit to what should be allowed on public streets. Commercial billboards and trademark slogans should be prohibited. Candidate advertising should also be banned.  But we can unify, inspire, and promote community by  reminding us of what we forgot.
If courts delay long, on the BLM case, there may be several more  artist works before the ruling gets announced.

Yukon Mayor Issues 'Proclamation' Mandate, Then Claims She Was Harassed

8/4/2020

Comments

UPDATED: see footnotes of Tuesday Council meeting.

Last month, Yukon mayor, Shelli Selby used her ceremonial proclamation discretion; not to declare a day to honor service dogs or honor a retiring city employee. No, this time she simply proclaimed a new law into existence within the city.  No unmasked person can come to a city meeting or office to exercise their petitioning of govt. or redress of grievance unless they conform to the very thing they cannot or will not submit to.
So some of the people of the district turned to their state Representative, Jay Steagall. This led the lawmaker to reach out to the new mayor & advise her of the overstep and how to correct it.
That was enough to get the local police mixed up in the drama, because she says the  conversation and follow up messages now amount to harassment of the woman mayor. Would a man claim harassment?  Not as likely, for sure.
Now the mayor is complaining to the Oklahoma Speaker of the House, to attempt to get Charles McCall to punish the lawmaker who is simply trying to provide constituent services for his own citizens of the House district.
This could set back political opportunity for thousands of women, when ordinary voters get sick of the cheap political 'victim card' being used to win political matters. There are real victims of harassment, just like there are real victims of racism. But when a politician abuses the police and the govt. process just to score another political coup; then the real bully is the one holding the victim card.

Covid Spread Rate Points To December Crisis

8/4/2020

Comments

Covid infections have doubled every 22 days, projections of ~1.2 million Oklahomans getting covid-19 in December.

Around June 21, there were about 9500 total Oklahomans testing positive.
Around July 11, there were about 19,000 total infections.
Around August 4, there are about 39,500 total infections.
That would suggest:
  • August 25th - 79,000
  • Sept 15th - 158,000
  • October 7th - 316,000
  • October 29th - 632,000
  • November 19 - 1,264,000
  • December 10th - 2,528,000
There are going to be several other external factors attempting to impact the actual public health circumstances, but we don't yet know which will be successful.
I post this as a straight-forward numeric equation, for discussion.  I fully expect to get ad-hominem and other irrational responses.

Masks & the Dangers of False Security

8/1/2020

Comments

Leftist state & local govt. leaders are rolling the dice on hopes that a magic mask can repel a new airborne virus, akin to the folklore use of garlic to repel vampires.
It's outraging constitutionalists who believe that no one can be deprived of liberties w/o due process of law (5th Amendment of US Constitution). Contagious disease policies require a judge's order of direct evidence of  transmission or exposure to a known deadly disease in order to issue a specific quarantine. But lazy contemporary orders are assuming that the whole community, including recovered patients; are deadly carriers. It defies medical science.
The World Health Organization has been rocked with global scandal over their coverup of the early days of the Chinese outbreak of a new strain of Coronavirus.  But the globalists who've defended the WHO, including major social media tyrants like Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, & Google search engines.
Picture
Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, the Director General of WHO, listed only certain conditions were masks are essential; in his April 6th & June 5th statements.

"No politician 'checks off every box" in your list of issues. You have to prioritize and use personal discretion regarding every current and future issue that you can imagine. Then you have to also judge integrity & consistency. A candidate's openness to study the issues & courage to think for themselves.
