Rep. McDugle Reprimands Sen. Lankford

6/29/2021

Comments

This morning Rep. Kevin McDugle posted a clear repudiation of the claims of Oklahoma's US Senator, James Lankford.  McDugle states that he personally & directly told the former youth minister that he will not endorse him, but Lankford appears to have publicly listed McDugle as one of several endorsements he now holds.
Lankford is facing a strong & energetic challenge from Jackson Lahmeyer, who just hosted a large series of events in the OKC metro area. The Lahmeyer campaign says over 2000 attended a Lahmeyer rally featuring Trump's former pick for National Security Advisor, General Mike Flynn.
Lankford drew severe 'blowback' for several actions over the past couple years, including lying about how he would vote in the crucial January 6th congressional matters.  Lankford followed up with even more damaging statements of capitulation to leftist activists, affirming the BLM narrative that minority voting rights are under attack.

Lessons In Party Unity From The Bull Moose

6/22/2021

Comments

Donald Trump was correct to stay in the Republican party. Electoral success comes when you let the other party split... and perhaps even encourage it. As Trump often said; "What the Democrats did to Bernie Sanders was criminal!"
This article was taken from the Library of Congress. It commemorates events in US History. It's part of a new daily feature at SoonerPolitics, Today in History.
Bull Moose Party Born on the evening of June 22, 1912.
Former President Theodore Roosevelt asked his supporters to leave the floor of the Republican National Convention in Chicago. Republican progressives reconvened in Chicago’s Orchestra Hall and endorsed the formation of a national progressive party. When formally launched later that summer, the new Progressive Party chose Roosevelt as its presidential nominee. Questioned by reporters, Roosevelt said he felt as strong as a “bull moose.” Thenceforth known as the “Bull Moose Party,” the Progressives promised to increase federal regulation and protect the welfare of ordinary people.

Roosevelt maintained that President William Howard Taft had allowed fraudulent seating of delegates in order to capture the presidential nomination from progressive forces within the party. However, the rift between the progressive and conservative wings of the Republican Party was apparent even before Roosevelt left office. Roosevelt’s support of government regulation, his efforts in conservation and consumer protection, and his willingness to work with organized labor alienated pro-business party members.

Bullies Claiming Victimhood For Political Gain

6/20/2021

Comments

By now you'd have to be in deliberate denial, not to see how victimhood is a weapon. Last night a purported gay man in Fort Lauderdale disrupted a homosexual festival with his violent crash into fellow attendees.
Immediately a leftist mayor, Dean Trantalis; declared the incident as a hate crime directed at the gay community.  Then a gay organizer refuted the false political narrative with a clarification that both the suspect and the injured attendees are part of his organized homosexual group.
Several national media outlets carried the mayor's fake news narrative because it garners further sympathy for the homosexual causes, and proliferates a 'boogie man' which will be used later in political attacks on anyone who opposes the radical left agenda.
Long gone are the days when homosexual rights groups called for libertarian policies of just being left alone.  Now the agenda is progressed to the place of stomping out (cancelling) anyone who doesn't join in the celebrations of the far left agenda.

Prison Closure Signals A Fiscal Win For OK Taxpayers

6/17/2021

Comments

A minimum-security prison is closing, partly because we're sending less people to prison. Why aren't we celebrating?
While other news outlets lament the 'terrible' news of the closure of a minimum security prison in Ft. Supply, Oklahoma; it scores as a huge win for taxpayers in the criminal justice reform effort. Many news outlets are focusing on the govt. jobs lost, and the state funds no longer coming into certain communities. Those state funds came out of every taxpayer's pocket.  But no media outlet is celebrating the milestone evidence that our govt. is forced to live within it's means.
Sen. Murdock & Rep Newton ought to be celebrating the cuts in prison spending. They ought to campaign for re election on these examples of fiscal conservatism. Local economies should not rely on govt. agencies to grow a community. This will be painful to adjust to, but it will realign NW Woodward County to an economy based on industry production in the private sector, rather than consuming more & more tax dollars and growing government.

The massive growth of prisons over 50 years.

Hern & Trump Hold Strategy Meeting

6/12/2021

Comments

Former President, Donald Trump, called in Oklahoma Congressman, Kevin Hern, and the other leaders of the Republican Study Committee; to chart a campaign course the GOP's future. The meeting was held in NJ, on Thursday.
Jim Banks (R-IN) is working with Hern and others on the RSC, "developing the consensus conservative agenda that can bring our party together, an agenda that is a winning agenda that can bring back the majority and an agenda we can focus on when we get the majority back. That agenda is the Trump agenda."
Hern is chair of the Budget & Spending Task Force for the RSC.  In the battle for the House, they defied expectations and took a big bite out of the Democrats’ majority. They currently only need a net gain of five seats in 2022 to regain control of the chamber.

Bridenstine: "Difficult To Do Better Than Lankford"

6/11/2021

Comments

Last month, a conservative political meeting featured former congressman Jim Bridenstine, speaking about his brief service as NASA Administrator. He ended by taking a few questions. But he made sure to let Hopper Smith ask him a question before leaving the stage.
Picture
"What are your thoughts on the upcoming US senate race?"
Bridenstine then prefaced his seemingly prepared answer by overtly "building credibility" by listing all his defiant actions in congressional politics.
Then he said; "It's very difficult to get a better senator than Lankford." he went on to say; "There is not a person out there that has higher integrity, and is going to be more conservative".

Given the gasps & moans that were quite audible with that statement, Bridenstine then acknowledged that he just "made half the room.. probably more than half upset".

Former Pfizer Vaccine Researcher Warns of Covid MRNA Vaccine Dangers

Even some of the world's foremost supporters of vaccine science, are sounding an alarm on the MRNA class of rushed vaccine candidates, due to a greater danger posed by the vaccine, than the infection.
Listen to the interview of Dr. Michael Yeadon, conducted by former president Trump's chief advisor, and the former editor of Breitbart News; Steve Bannon.
“They have not been sufficiently tested,”
Yeadon explained.
“They were approved for emergency use fraudulently, in my view, because they shouldn’t do it if there are safe and effective medicines. And there are. They have just been hidden.”

Mass Graves & 1920 Deadly Pandemic Struggles

6/9/2021

Comments

There are many lessons our nation has to relearn because we've either suppressed or forgotten.  The deadly 1921 Tulsa racial war was just one of several.
This past year we started digging graveyards to find uncharted graves. We're now finding some. But now we must find out when they were interned, and why we had no record?
There are several graveyards with uncharted graves, in Oklahoma.  Bodies were buried and no one held the cemeteries accountable.  All over the world there were mass gravesites in 1919 & 1920.  But the reasons were not so much a racial issue, but a pandemic crisis.
In Oklahoma's Eastern State mental hospital, there's a graveyard with far less headstones than bodies, & no cemetery records for hundreds of deceased Oklahomans who were wards of the state. Their families no longer even have open access to lay flowers without applying for a permit for a visit.  No one held the state accountable for properly running a cemetery. Even our Attorney General banned an effort to properly identify the 1172 unmarked graves.

Viral pandemics, racial unrest, mounting death tolls, and emergency powers being recklessly wielded; are just some of the ways we're reliving the events of 100 years ago.

Tulsa Public Schools Wants A Massive Bond For Way Less Students

6/7/2021

Comments

Observers of public education are witnessing a collapse of confidence in bloated public school systems. Tulsa is a noteworthy example. The enrollment is far below that of the 10 year old Epic Charters.
Today, State Superintendent Joy Hofmeister, reports a major fraud investigation which implicates Tulsa Public schools, without naming the district, specifically.
Two years ago, while TPS was conducting an illegal teacher strike, TPS teachers were exposed in a scandal where the district paid for Las Vegas trips which were billed as training conferences.
While the population of kids has grown in Tulsa, the TPS district has radically shrunk from over 41,000 kids just 10 years ago. On top of that, the TPS federal funding brings in another $3000 or so.  County property taxes then kick in. In all, Tulsa Public schools has about $630 Million dollars to spend each year on the 35,000 students, or.. $18,000 per student, per year. Bishop Kelley, in contrast; charges less than half that, for a private school education($8,900).

This week, Tulsans will decide if the property taxes will go up, to pay another $7500 per student, for software subscriptions and electronics.

Daniel Holtzclaw's Trial Judge Faces Corruption Allegations

6/4/2021

Comments

Evidence in a sex scandal involving former Oklahoma County District Judge Timothy Henderson shows a history of complaints. Henderson is accused of making repeated unwanted sexual advances toward two prosecutors & a defense attorney.   Some of those sexual advances may have further compromised Henderson's integrity in guiding his own trial docket.
When prosecuting attorneys have powerful 'dirt' on a judge, any number of tyrannies can occur, and injustices are very likely.  Such is the scenario when Judge Henderson sentenced a police officer to 263 years in prison on discredited evidence that prosecutors insisted that he admit as 'credible'.
Perhaps the real sexual predators were projecting upon a cop? Perhaps the cop became a sacrificial casualty to seal a more sinister deal at the courthouse?
In late March, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation was asked to conduct a criminal investigation at the request of both Governor Kevin Stitt & District Attorney David Prater.

Mike Hunter Facing Lawsuit For Abusive Prosecution

6/3/2021

Comments

Former Cabinet Member, David Ostrowe filed a lawsuit against departed AG, Mike Hunter, for "unlawfully, recklessly, and intentionally created harm".  The civil suit gives Ostrowe greater latitude to pursue and expose the corrupted Justice Dept and it's reach into many other state agencies..
Our constitution sets up the AG to heavily influence many state agencies through the office of chief legal council which each major agency looks to the AG's office to fill.
Kim Bailey is one such staffer.  On Sunday, Investigative Journalist, Al Gerhart, published a report detailing rumors of an affair between Hunter & Bailey.  The report goes on to allege how Bailey's high appointment in state govt. was opposed by Ostrowe, and how Hunter is alleged to have sought vengeance on Ostrowe with a felony corruption charge.  Somehow the conspiracy to frame (if true) one of Gov. Stitt's top advisors, may have fallen apart?

Guest Editorial: RNC Silence on 700 Imprisoned Trump Supporters

6/1/2021

"I have also been invited to call Tom Cole and thank him for fighting the liberal agenda. I'm not sure, but he may have tried to "build the dang wall". Be that as it may, send money. If you already sent money, send more money."
by John Scott - Oklahoma City
I'm a 2021 Republican National Committee Charter Member Gold Card holder, which is evidently some sort of distinction I've held since 2019. Included with that is an actual plastic card with my name and a member number which I'm supposed to carry in my wallet with pride. The card doesn't do anything as far as I can tell, which makes it perfectly emblematic of the party which has bestowed the great honor upon me.
The accompanying letter from Ronna McDaniel tells all about the significance of this great personal achievement, and asks for, you guessed it, a donation to renew my commitment to the party with a vague promise it will help combat Biden, Pelosi and Schumer and their socialist schemes.

John Scott penned this short & poignant thesis for reform of the national Republican Party structure, and he calls on our own congressional delegation to advocate for the victims of tyranny. The people who are still held in indefinite imprisonment without a trial.

Election 2022: Drummond Runs For AG

6/1/2021

Comments

In the wake of AG Mike Hunter's hasty exit from public life, His 2018 rival, Gentner Drummond, quickly announced his 2022 bid to become the next elected Attorney General.
In his weekend press release, Drummond is quoted; "I will be the first to admit that I have never been the choice of the political elite,” said Drummond. “I wear their rejection as a badge of honor. I am not running for office to serve them–I am running to serve the People of Oklahoma.”
Political columnist, Al Gerhart, listed Drummond as a likely candidate even before the Drummond press release was made widely known.  But a big factor also impacting the race will be whom Gov. Stitt appoints to finish the current term, for the next 18 months. It's the same incumbency stature which helped Mike Hunter (a consummate political insider) build a campaign and fund it with donations from those who need a favorable AG's office.
Drummond is well aware of the power of political elitism and the pack of Lincoln Blvd. In 2018 he detailed to Sooner Politics how people in high power command the loyalty of those they appoint to state offices.  There's no doubt Drummond would shake up that order, but we can only speculate just how?
