OKGOP Fundraising Reports Big Success

8/21/2021

Comments

The Finance Director for the Oklahoma Republican party, Darren Gantz; reports strong fiscal numbers in Chairman John Bennett's first 4 months.
Darren Gantz has taken on the financial duties of the OKGOP since shortly after the April 10th State Convention. He has watched as party supporters responded to the new chairman with a new and broader base of support from primarily 'Trump Republicans"  Gantz says that as of this moment, all bills are paid, and  at least $30,000 of old debt from the previous administration were paid up.
According to Federal and state oversight agencies, the David McLain OKGOP administration(2019-2021) relied heavily on US Senator James Lankford for the party funding. One source said that about $108,000 of party funding came from Lankford's senatorial campaign & personal support. But since April 10th Lankford is not found in any list of party contributors.  Evidently, Congressmen Markwayne Mullins & Tom Cole are currently the only members of Oklahoma's Republican DC delegation that are helping the Oklahoma State Republican Party.

Oklahoma Health Workers Consider Labor Unions

Vaccine Mandates Cause Labor Crisis

Houston is now reeling in the wake of a massive nurse revolt from hospitals firing over 150 staffers who would not agree to mandated RNA alterations as a new condition of their current employment.  The Foundation for Economic Education just published a research into a Houston hospital staffing crisis caused by mass firings of staffers who refused the new vaccine mandates from the hospital administrators.
Many Oklahoma hospital administrators are playing a strategy game which could quickly blow up.  While Republican elected officials are largely ignoring the employee cry for hospital oversight reform,  nurses and other medical professionals are now quietly organizing to consider their options in the face of an unknown health risk, and a labor precedent about permanent physical alterations as a condition of career livelihood.

FBI is hiding a fugitive in Ashli Babbitt's Murder

8/17/2021

Comments

Now that multiple other news sources have published this data, we're going to share this.  Loads of circumstantial evidence points to a capitol police officer known as Michael Leroy Byrd as the trigger man who killed a young unarmed female military veteran, Ashli Babbitt. Byrd defended the murder by saying to Rep. Mullin; "They had evil in their eyes".
It appears that a beaded bracelet on the right wrist of the gunman is the most convincing visual confirmation. Taylor Hansen published volumes of evidence.
The FBI appears to have taken taxpayer dollars to put the gunman into the witness protection program, or something very similar.  Officer Byrd's home has not been returned to, several months later. His social media 'footprint' has been thoroughly scrubbed.
Even though we have clear visual evidence and multiple eyewitness accounts, and even a purported confession made to an Oklahoma congressman, no police report has been fully published in this murder.
Oklahoma's 2nd district congressman, Markwayne Mullin told Tulsa talk radio about a conversation he had with the gunman.

Kabul Falls To Taliban Within Hours - Biden Exposes CIA Assets

8/16/2021

Picture
Joe Biden poses alone in what has been identified as a 'situation room' at Camp David, miles outside Washington, DC. The hastily-released photo showed the current times around the world, and the large monitor showed multiple CIA assets in Afghanistan. Those US intelligence officers are presumed to be on the run, as a result of their identities and locations being revealed.
Just last Friday, the warnings from global intelligence sources said that Kabul could fall into the hands of Taliban terrorists within 5 weeks. That was Friday.
By Sunday, Kabul was taken, and tens of thousands of US Allies in Afghanistan were rushing into the international airport, desperate for their lives.
Meanwhile Jen Psaki told us she's taking a vacation and won't be answering media questions for another week. But she did make a cameo appearance in a crossdressing staffer's video from the West Wing.
Worse yet, Joe Biden was also AWOL during much of the weekend. He did pose for a solitary photo in a 'situation room' without any advisors or briefing papers. He has a blank stare on his face as he intently looks at a TV monitor with the images of several intelligence officers who are now on the run in Afghanistan because the Taliban and their Iranian intelligence contacts were able to identify the US assets and their locations throughout Afghanistan.

Hospitals Changing Policies On Employee Vaccine Regimens

8/5/2021

Comments

We are watching a
right-wing labor movement.

3 of Tulsa's Big 4 Hospitals Are Not Mandating Vaccines As A Universal Employee Policy.

Ascension Saint John is the first Tulsa hospital to announce it'll require all its employees to get the latest coronavirus vaccine by November 12, joining other health systems like Saint Anthony, OU, & Mercy, in Oklahoma City in requiring the shot for all their workers.
News On 6 checked the other big healthcare systems in the area. As of now, Saint Francis, Hillcrest and OSU Medical Center will not require workers to get the vaccine.
“At least, as far as it appears, there’s a good argument to be made than an employer can mandate vaccinations for employees,” labor and employment issues attorney Adam Childers said.

Sen. Lankford Wants Ben & Jerry's Banned In Oklahoma

8/5/2021

Comments

Picture
Does James Lankford know more about Oklahoma law than our own legislature?
About two weeks ago, a leftist ice cream company from Vermont announced their non-renewal of a distribution contract with an Israeli food distributor.  It's a move intended to pressure the nation to give Jerusalem (their capitol city) over to the Palestinians.

Now Oklahoma's junior U.S. senator, James Lankford; wants our state government to enforce a ban on the sale of Ben & Jerry's ice cream in Oklahoma.
But It appears Lankford is advocating an illegal act of state oppression.

It appears that Lankford misunderstands a bill passed in Oklahoma in May of 2020 that declared Israel “a prominent trading partner of the State of Oklahoma” and “that the state, and those companies that do business by and through the state, in the interest of the state’s economic policy, should not boycott trade with Israel.”

Here's his tweet.

Oklahoma Radio & TV Move To Internet, As Stations Die

8/3/2021

Comments

Oklahoma loses the last conservative talk radio station.

Internet technologies and innovations have led to the death of legacy broadcasting platforms such as the radio stations, newspapers, and televisions stations.
Legacy media outlets are shutting down or moving to formats with no local programming or news coverage.

Exhibit A

1170KFAQ just announced their immediate move to sports talk.  They started nearly 20 years ago when talk radio was exploding. It became Tulsa's top-rated station in the talk genre for much of the programming day.  Nearly half the weekday schedule was local programming, and a good portion of the weekend lineup was, as well.
Michael Del Giorno, Gwen Freeman, Chris Medlock, Elvis Polo, Pat Campbell, Eddie Huff, and so many guest contributors were leading the information era which gave a bigger 'megaphone' to the Tea Party which transformed politics about a decade ago.  Oklahoma's legislature and all statewide elective offices turned Republican in the first decade of our century.

Eddie Huff Returns To Conservative Broadcasting

8/2/2021

Comments

One of the most trusted Oklahoma conservative voices on the radio for the past 15 years has been Eddie Huff. His longtime presence on KFAQ and other outlets has informed & guided the religious right, tea party, and Trump populist movements.
After a few years away from the radio stations, Eddie has launched his own FreshBlack.Coffee podcast.   In early June, Eddie sat down with David Van of SoonerPolitics.org, to discuss the needs of the conservatives in Oklahoma. What was supposed to be a breakfast meeting turned into a working group session that lasted until the noon hour.  When the meeting ended,  David Van had committed to joining Eddie's venture of making a weekly Sunday Morning show.
Eddie's seasoned wisdom has made him a trusted counselor to much of Oklahoma's conservative majority. Political leaders and clergy respect Eddie's perspective and godly example.

"No politician 'checks off every box" in your list of issues. You have to prioritize and use personal discretion regarding every current and future issue that you can imagine. Then you have to also judge integrity & consistency. A candidate's openness to study the issues & courage to think for themselves.  SoonerPolitics.org is committed to informing & mobilizing conservative Oklahomans for civic reform & restored liberty. We seeks to utilize the efforts of all cooperative facets of the Conservative movement... Content of the diverse columns are solely at the discretion of the dozens of websites who create the content.   David Van Risseghem  is the founder of this platform.
Sooner Politics News is a platform, not a media site. All our bloggers get their feeds promoted regardless of content. As soon as We suppress or delete even one posting, we become an endorser of whatever We didn't censor..The publisher doesn't (and could not) logically agree with all the content, so we would not expect any rational reader to agree, either. What we do hope, is that readers will think for themselves, and at least be better informed of the issues, events, and values that our citizen journalists work hard to provide for free.. We automate much of the tasks so that our sources' content gets as much exposure as possible. We encourage constructive discussion & debate. The solution is more free speech, not less.
