Unknown State House Official Pays Off Sexual Harassment Claim Against Rep. Dan Kirby, With State Funds

Picture
The Oklahoma News reports that 58 year old Tulsa State Rep. Dan Kirby was facing charges that he repeatedly sexually harassed his 28 year old female Legislative Asst.. Hollie Bishop, a Muskogee native, says she endured nearly a year of inappropriate pressure from the middle-aged politician.
Dan Kirby was recently re-elected to his seat, representing Northeast Tulsa. Only after the election was secured, did the yet-unknown state official, approve spending tens of thousands of dollars to both  Ms. Bishop & her legal team.
Termed-out former Speaker, Jeff Hickman, has previously been harshly criticized for covering up abuses of other Republicans in the House. The funds payment came from an account designated to cover the expenses of the Oklahoma House of Representatives. It adds to the bloated expenses that the Republican House tacks on the the annual state budget. Oklahoma now faces more than a $600 million dollar budget deficit.

Coburn & Largent Team Up For Govt. Accountability

12/21/2016

Comments

From the Enid News:
Picture
ENID, Okla. — Former U.S. Sen. Tom Coburn was welcomed with a standing ovation when he announced the launch of the Foundation to Restore Accountability at the Oakwood Country Club.

“..Six years ago, in the 2010 election, I worked with Coburn to elect more conservative senators,” said Paul Allen, who organized the event. “I wondered if that’s gone up in smoke. Coburn and this foundation will take a three-pronged approach. It’s not a political gathering as much as it is an American gathering.”

Allen said he hosted the event because America needs to change and engage younger citizens, known as millennials. During his time in office, Coburn was famous for releasing reports about wasteful government spending and earmarks.

“This country has been great to hundreds or thousands of people, if not millions of people,” Coburn said. “But what I see happening to our country is a loss of freedom.”

The foundation focuses on engaging millennials through non-partisan, debt-focused facts and sustainable spending.

Coburn said the nation’s total unfunded liabilities, legal commitments already made with no identified funding source, are nearly $100 trillion. The amount, which is considered a conservative estimate, is more than the entire net worth of the nation, he added.

“I’m not an alarmist,” Coburn said. “I’m 67 years old. I quit the Senate because I was convinced I couldn’t help anymore. Liberty is what we’re guaranteed, a right, and we’re losing it.”

The foundation’s three-pronged approach mentioned by Allen encompasses the following aspects:
  1. force the federal government to use real numbers in regards to national spending;
  2. amend the U.S. Constitution through a constitutional convention of the states to require a balanced budget;
  3. engage millennials and restore accountability.

Clinton Suffers Two Times As Many Defections As Trump

12/19/2016

Comments

Picture
The Day is not over, but the Clinton machine is.
  • After all the scheming with the Green PArty to do the Democrats' bidding...
  • With all the Hollywood celebs telling Republican Electors how much "We'll respect you in the morning."...
  • With all the Media thugs beating the drum for a narrative of Trump being the pawn of the Russians (The eighties called, they want their foreign policy back).
Hillary Clinton suffered 4 actual defections today. At least 2 more tried to but  got silenced before they could cast an unfaithful ballot.
Trump did lose the support of that attention-seeker in Texas. And even a 2nd Texan decided Ron Paul is our only hope to revive our dying Republic.
Even if Hillary wins all the rest of the electors, tonight. she still ends up suffering a 2% shrink in her support.  Trump lost less than 1% of his electors. Trump has a 76 electoral vote margin of victory. That 2million lead of the popular vote which Clinton has; is all from California.

  1. The Elecors will meet in the ceremonial "Blue Room"
  2. The event is set for 10:30am, today
  3. No Cameras are allowed. Fox25 news sent a full crew to the event and they were not allowed in with a camera.
  4. Alternate electors are also attending the event, along with the 7 electors.
  5. The Associated Press may be the best source for a full unofficial tabulation of the 51 colleges meeting today. Heavy.com also has a large collection of live webcasts.
  6. The Electors were all there early. They took time to get a group picture and share stories of the letters they got.

Seven Of Our Finest: The Electors of Oklahoma

12/19/2016

Comments

With the turbulent events surrounding the presidential election, the Federal Electors have been under immense pressure. The events of December 19th have been manipulated through many initiatives.  These seven were selected by the grassroots of the OKGOP.
Last April, five conventions were held around the state. Each convention selected a nominee for Elector, along with an alternate. Weeks later, the whole state's delegates convened and selected two at-large nominees and two alternates.
These are not career politicians or people who bought the right to be electors. No, the grassroots selected people they know and trust. People of principle, conviction, values.

David Oldham was nominated by Northeast Oklahoma Republicans. He is one of seven presidential electors called on to cast Oklahoma's alotted votes in the presidential selection process.
David will be the Tuesday night guest of the Tulsa Area Republican Assembly. He will tell some amazing stories of how various individuals around the nation have sought to manipulate votes through flattery, guilt, and even threats of harm. Dinner is at 6pm, or just come for the program at 7pm.

This meeting is open to the public, but an RSVP is appreciated. You may do so at the TARA Facebook Event page.

Hamilton's Electoral College Defined

12/18/2016

Comments

Picture
With the Monday meeting of 51 Electoral Colleges, there is an important opportunity to better understand how and why the unique structure is in place.

With Hollywood now summoning their familiar spirits of Alexander Hamilton; we need to study the views of Hamilton in proper context.

Here is a concise essay on Federalist 68, the letter Hamilton wrote, to explain the vision of the college and what important role it serves. Wikipedia published the essay.

Federalist 68 outlined
Hamilton's understanding of the Electoral College
Federalist No. 68 is the continuation of Alexander Hamilton's analysis of the presidency, in this case being concerned with the method of electing the President. Hamilton argues the advantages of the indirect electoral process described in Article II Section 1 of the Constitution although, in the case of a tied vote in the Electoral College, the House of Representatives was to make the choice.

Alt Left Conjurs A Reagan Spirit To Fight Trump

12/18/2016

Picture
Californians are channeling Ronald Reagan to their desparate cause of stopping the electoral college from selecting Donald Trump to be the president.
Danny Feingold of Alternet recently posted up his fantasy conversation with a reincarnated Ronald Reagan. In his delusionary conversation, the leftist blogger convinces the dead president to give him a quote to share with the electors.

There was another pause, and the voice grew fainter.

“I always loved America, but this is not the country I know. This is not the democracy I cherished. I once said that freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction—and I meant it.”

“So what should the electors do tomorrow?” I asked once more.

The voice answered slowly but deliberately:

“Pray, vote their conscience and protect the greatest nation on earth.”

Chairman Pollard Calls Okla. Republicans To Convention

12/16/2016

Comments

Picture
In an effort to empower grassroots energy in the Republican Party, OKGOP Chair, Pam Pollard is granting broad latitude to the counties and precincts as they build on an unprecedented victory in the general election.

In the past, state chairmen have dictated the very day and hour when all Republicans were to gather in their precincts.

More recently we've seen state leadership define a set week or month for precincts. Pollard has determined just to give the 77 county organizations a hard deadline of March 25th,  for submitting key info to state convention organizers.

But while the rules call for meetings in each precinct, some county leaders have conspired to usurp the of the permannent precinct organization by ordering them to meet at other locations, most of which are outside the boundaries. Some urban precincts are sent far away from their metro area.
Two years ago, the Oklahoma NAACP protested the Tulsa GOP for making the North Tulsa (predominantly black minority neighborhoods) travel to rural Collinsvile, OK. But they further mislead them by erroniously telling them weeks ahead of time to go to an East Tulsa Library. County Commissioner, John Smalligo was one of those who wasted over an hour in city traffic and county roads, to eventually show up late to the location dictated by the Tulsa County Chair. Some citizens who rely on mass transit were shut out of the party process because of the undue burden.

Brogdon Joins The Political Discussion On Campaign Funding

12/16/2016

Comments

Picture
Randy Brogdon checked in to The Pat Campbell Show, this morning. Pat was discussing the scenario of a sudden vacancy in congress if Jim Bridenstine did get nominated and confirmed to a post in the Trump administration (NASA Administrator or Head of the Air Force, are two possible scenarios).

Pat Campbell discussed the importance of a well-financed campaign. This topic brought about a response from the former state senator and OKGOP chairman.

Randy called in especially to emphasize that while we have an "irreplaceable man" in Jim Bridenstine, there is a very good possibility that a special election scenario could bring about a better prospect for maintaining a strong conservative voice for the 1st district of Oklahoma.

Brogdon also expressed he importance of a very well funded effort. Brodgon's 2014 US Senate campaign was stymied by campaign laws which held him back from even raising campaign funds for the race, because he had to shut down his active campaign for Oklahoma governor.

Congressional Term Limits Proposed By Ted Cruz

12/16/2016

Comments

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) and Rep. Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) have revealed their plans to introduce a constitutional amendment that will impose term limits for both congressmen and senators.
They published a joint op-ed for The Washington Post, where the two Republican firebrands said that a term limits amendment would be an effective way for the new Republican administration to “drain the swamp.” But more importantly, it would fundamentally safeguard our nation's future generations from the kind of corruption which has become institutionalized.

“We believe that the rise of political careerism in modern Washington is a drastic departure from what the founders intended of our federal governing bodies. To effectively “drain the swamp,” we believe it is past time to enact term limits for Congress.”

A policy of congressional term limits was repeatedly advocated for by President-elect Donald Trump during his presidential campaign, with Speaker of the House Paul Ryan also voicing his support for the idea.

Both Cruz and DeSantis also point to the “broad support” for congressional term limits, citing a Ramussen survey conducted in October that showed 74% of likely voters supported the idea.
The amendment would impose a three term limit for members of congress and a two term limit for senators.

Draining this congressional swamp will require massive voter mobilization. The members have invested their whole lives to politics. Lobbyists have bought most of them and don't want to start over every second or third term.

Labor Union Launches Tulsa Ad Campaign Against Walmart

Union Organizers Want Walmart Not to Call Police When Criminals Steal From The Store

Picture
Advertisements started showing up on Cable News, this week. They complain that Walmart prosecutes too many shoplifters.
The ad compares number of police responses at Walmart to the calls to Target stores or other merchants. But Walmart is demonstrating the kind of community responsibility that all merchants should.

Not long ago, QuikTrip convenience stores revealed that they don't generally prosecute or even confront shoplifting. This knowledge led to an even greater problem and QuikTrip's prices took a hike because of it. that means you and I are subsidizing the shoplifters when we pay more to make up for the shrinkage of inventory.

An old merchant of a "Five & Dime" store chain told me; "Every 12th unit in a case of inventory is the profit item for that merchant. When a thief steals something off the shelf, the merchant has to sell an additional 11, just to make up for it."

Pinnell Gets Passed Over For RNC Chair

12/15/2016

Comments

Picture
  Former OKGOP Chair, Matt Pinnell, got some disappointing news from the Trump Transition team. The president-elect decided to endorse Michigan GOP chair, Ronna Romney (niece of Mitt Romney). As is Pinnell's style and class, he issued the following statement to his social media feed;
"I've had the pleasure of working with Ronna during my time at the RNC. She's the real deal, and will make an excellent National Chairman.
Both Ronna and Bob have spent time in the political trenches. They're tested and ready for this- exactly what's needed to continue the grassroots momentum at the RNC. Great picks."
Ironically, Pinnell was a shoo-in for RNC, had Trump lost the  presidential race. He had spent the last couple years serving in the RNC, as the director of state parties. The 168 members of the RNC voting base all have worked closely with Pinnell. It was his job to make sure the national party was working with the state parties on key objectives.

Gov. Perry Tapped For Agency He Believes Should Be 'Gone'

12/13/2016

Comments

Picture
In the infamous meltdown moment of the 2012 Republican primary preseason, Texas Gov., Rick Perry, said he would immediately shut down 3 top government agencies. Commerce, Education, and.... and... oops! he forgot.
His campaign later clarified the 3rd as being the Department of Energy,
He was asked if the EPA would be the 3rd agency on his list, but he said; "No, I'm talking about top-tier agencies. EPA needs to be reformed."
It was one of the stellar moments of that primary debate series. Perry never recovered and became an early casualty of the battle royale we know of as the GOP presidential selection process.
Perry even turned to fellow Texan, Dr. Ron Paul, for help. Paul only made it tougher for Perry by saying 5 departments need to be closed. So much for getting a bailout from a constitutionalist...
Today, Donald Trump tapped Perry to head up the Department of Energy. It's a big win for the petroleum states like Oklahoma, but a real mea culpa for a career politician like Perry.

Newell Resigns Office To Join Florida Lobby Group

12/13/2016

Comments

Picture
A special interest lobby group and foundation out of Florida just announced that Tom Newell joined their lobbying team. He will travel and correspond with politicians in many states.
Just 2 weeks ago, Rep. Tom Newell abruptly resigned his new term in the Oklahoma Legislature. He had just been sworn in less than 2 weeks earlier. Now the state will have to spend unbudgeted money to run a whole new series of elections.
Until then, his abandoned constituents will go without constitutional representation. The OKGOP spent considerable money and volunteer effort to secure the legislative seat.

  He wrote the following statement;
“It has been an honor and a privilege to serve the people of House District 28.  I will be pursuing an opportunity in the private sector that will allow me to spend more time with my family, while allowing me to serve families nationwide.

I appreciate the trust people in District 28 placed in me. I’m thankful for the friendships I’ve made with all of my colleagues in the Legislature. I know the state is capable hands with the new House members and Speaker-elect Charles McCall.”
The Seminole county district is about 41 minutes drive to the Oklahoma state capitol, where he has reserved parking. His legislative sessions are only about 4 months of the year, or less. It may appear odd that the man quit his office for more time with family, but now must travel to several states in order to effectively lobby for his agenda, effectively.

Enid Police Arrest Citizen For Simply Bearing Arms

12/13/2016

From Curtis Tucker, Enid Buzz:
Picture
ENID, Okla. — Enid Police Department officers arrested a 35-year-old man from Hunter, Oklahoma, Tuesday; after receiving nearly a dozen calls reporting him walking down the road carrying a military-style rifle.

Six 911 calls were made to police about 11:25 a.m., and five non-emergency calls, reporting a man wearing a camouflage jacket with a rifle beneath it. One caller told police it could a have been an AK-47 or a BB gun. Two schools, Prairie View Elementary School and Glenwood Elementary School, were placed on lockdown following the sighting.

Officers Mike Atchley and Brett Moore stopped the man in the area of Willow and Cleveland and identified him as Russell Andrew Anderson.

Anderson told officers he had left a relative's house in the Willow Lake Addition and was "going for a walk," said Capt. Jack Morris. Anderson told the officers he did this all the time in the outlying community of Hunter, OK; and it was his constitutional right to carry his guns.

Witnesses said Anderson was carrying the AR-15 against his chest, but when officers found him he was carrying the rifle by its top handle. Anderson's rifle was magazine-loaded but not chamber-loaded at the time police made contact with him, according to an EPD news release.
