It started with a downtown 'rally', sponsored by "Black Lives Matter, inc.". the speakers on the downtown stage openly called for a race war and revolution. The crowd cheered and chanted. The movement is endorsed by most every major professional sports franchise. This indoctrination of incited violence is called "mostly peaceful, by the Portland and national media.
Then the group started attacking a mentally ill woman. A young white man came to her aid and he was beaten by the mob for his 'samaritan' efforts. |

The man then appeared to attempt to flee the situation in his truck and later ended up crashing into a building, at which point he was violently attacked by what independent journalists have identified as Antifa and Black Lives Matter activists. During the attack he was kicked in the head from behind, which instantly knocked him out. Some of the witnesses attempted to move him.
KATU (Portland TV) said that Police declined to arrest anyone or even use tear gas to disperse the attacking mob. KATU did not provide any further medical status on the beating victim other than to say he was sent to the hospital. Video shows a severe spinal injury from a running kick from behind. Marquise 'Keese' Love was said to be a person of interest when he was identified on video as the attacker who knocked the victim unconscious. Social media investigators say that "Keese Love" lists an employment history which includes working at the Portland Intl. Airport as an armed security guard.
