| By now you'd have to be in deliberate denial, not to see how victimhood is a weapon. Last night a purported gay man in Fort Lauderdale disrupted a homosexual festival with his violent crash into fellow attendees. Immediately a leftist mayor, Dean Trantalis; declared the incident as a hate crime directed at the gay community. Then a gay organizer refuted the false political narrative with a clarification that both the suspect and the injured attendees are part of his organized homosexual group. Several national media outlets carried the mayor's fake news narrative because it garners further sympathy for the homosexual causes, and proliferates a 'boogie man' which will be used later in political attacks on anyone who opposes the radical left agenda. Long gone are the days when homosexual rights groups called for libertarian policies of just being left alone. Now the agenda is progressed to the place of stomping out (cancelling) anyone who doesn't join in the celebrations of the far left agenda. |  The arrested suspect is seen wearing a rainbow-colored shirt which appears to say .FLGMC'. |
| The tactic works because the commercial media is largely controlled by a leftist narrative which not only tells the people what to think... but more importantly, what to think about. Yesterday there was another tragic event in Arizona where many more victims were identified. But the event was not covered at all, because it was at an organized event to benefit a Christian educational institution. It's not always biased because of political agendas. Sometimes it's just more compelling to cover the murder of a young beauty queen than a father or homeless person. We're taught to value some lives more than others. Sometimes it's their beauty, popularity, or cause. But sometimes the media just invents a connection to a cause.. then exploits the narrative and twists it into something which the facts directly contradict. The event was a terrible thing. The death & injuries are real. The emotions of those who narrowly escaped injury should not be assumed to be fake. But the media narrative wants us to think that only Homosexuals are targeted. We are supposed to be very angry and support homosexual agendas, and condemn anyone who doesn't feel the way we're being manipulated into feeling. Especially the folks on the right. | Intersectional Politics When narratives of victimhood collide, they call it 'intersectional'. It's inevitable that problems arise within these victim groups. While women's rights was a highly leveraged tool of the left, they are now being abandoned in favor of 'gender rights' which make women pay a deadly price in order to advance transgender agendas. While protecting women from sexual assault might have been a cause to exploit 30 years ago, now the women are being labeled 'bigot' if they still insist that men stay out of the female public restroom. |
