Buying Politicians With Food

Lobbyists & other special interests admitted to spending nearly $500,000 on "wining and dining" the legislature, during the last session. Some politicians enjoyed over $2000 worth of food from suitors.
OklahomaWatch just compiled and published a long list of details from the state ethics commission. there were 127 pages worth of entries.
Two notable legislators have a tradition of not receiving gifts from legislators, yet there were claims made for meal gifts to

• Rep. Jason Murphey (less than $20). But when  we researched further, we could not find that entry.
• Senator Nathan Dahm did accrue about $200 in dining, mostly from OCPA, Tulsa Chamber of Commerce, and The Farm Bureau. One other entity tried to send Senator Dahm a gift subscription of some kind, but he returned it in keeping with his published prohibition of accepting gifts.
