Dan Fisher: 'Tyrants Who Run Oklahoma'

  Dan Fisher believes Rep. John Bennett was right to expose the terrorism of the Oklahoma Agencies. But Fisher goes even further. Here's his latest blog, defending Bennett.

  Former Representative, Dan Fisher, called the bureaucrats of Oklahoma's state agencies; "Tyrannical".

  Yesterday, Rep. John Bennett called Agency heads and elected officials “terrorists.” 
  Why would he do that? Easy. He is not afraid to tell the truth about the tyrannical bureaucrats running our state government into the ground and expose the way they constantly manipulate the emotions of Oklahoma taxpayers to get what they want. Rep. Bennett is right! 
  As agency heads repeatedly use emotional pleas like “the people are suffering” and “the elderly won’t get their medicine if tax increases are not passed,” the average taxpayer is being shamed and bullied into coughing up more of their hard earned income to subsidize a bloated government that refuses to discipline itself.

Fisher called Fallin's governorship, rudderless, unprincipled, & disastrous.

  Some are saying that calling it “terrorism” was going too far. Was it? Webster’s Dictionary defines terrorism as “the systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion.” As far as I am concerned, that seems to perfectly define what some of our state agencies are doing to the people of Oklahoma.
  Our elected officials have been arm-twisting, intimidating, bullying, and using coercion to terrorize average taxpayers into accepting massive tax increases to fill the $215 million hole in the budget our state government created by spending money that they didn’t have. This is why Rep. Bennett is calling it terrorism – and I agree."

  If you have been paying any attention at all, you know this special session has been marked by a systematic use of terror tactics aimed at coercing any remaining principled elected state officials into supporting tax increases – something a majority of Oklahomans do not support. How is this not “political terrorism”?

Rep John Bennett has done Oklahomans a great service by pointing out the obvious truth. Our state government is presently a rudderless ship adrift as a result of Gov. Fallin’s eight years of unprincipled, disastrous leadership. 

Bennett has it right. Our state government is certainly using the systematic use of terror, especially as a means of coercion. The truth hurts, and the unprincipled politicians and state bureaucrats at 23rd and Lincoln are not accustomed to living with the lights turned on. 

I encourage you to join me in standing with Rep. John Bennett. If you’re an Oklahoman that appreciates an elected official who tells the truth, call Bennett’s office and thank him for protecting our liberties and for looking out for our best interests.

  Fisher is just one of the scores of conservative former legislators who call on the current legislature to do their job. Oversight of the state agencies is greatly lacking.
