The Oklahoma Election Board just released the latest absentee voting totals as of Friday, 5pm. It indicates a huge Democrat turnout compared to Republicans.
While Republicans hold a slim lead in voters at the polls (less than 3% more), the independents make up nearly 12% of the active voters who've already cast votes. As of this point, the independents are clearly the deciding factor in the outcome of the big races. Early & Absentee voting(currently 370,193) is already about 45% higher than at this time 4 years ago, when about 255,000 early votes were cast. Every county will have a polling location open on Saturday from 9am-2pm. Voters who are concerned about voter ID fraud or civil unrest on the Tuesday election day, should take this Saturday accommodation as a valid & prudent option.
