The state regulators have been operating a "don't ask-don't tell" policy on marijuana seeds being acquired for the first crops. This has allowed growers to order seeds from sources in states where Marijuana is legal to sell. The Product safety board has already been appointed and has held several hours of meetings to establish some standards of consistency in products as well as labeling & packaging compliance norms.

Seedlings are legal in Oklahoma if they break the soil surface on Sept. 7th, or after (providing proper license is in hand).
Hundreds of licenses to patients have already gone out and home grow operations are already "in the dirt". Patients who don't have seeds may buy seedlings from a licensed dispensary beginning Sept. 7th. Caregiver licenses were received for 17 patients whose health is so frail that they need a trusted person to make the trip to a dispensary on their behalf. |
