 Trump Keeps Key ObamaCare Mandates Sadly, we are getting indications that Donald Trump plans to maintain laws mandating that we all stay forced into high risk pools, if we decide to buy health insurance. So folks whose healthy lifestyle keeps them from needing a Cadillac policy with a smorgasbord of features which they cannot afford and neither need. | when ObamaCare was mandated upon all US citizens, part of the regulations involved ending the high risk health insurance industry. But in reality, we were all put in the high risk pool. Everyone's enormous risks were mandated upon all the rest of the public. No one can be turned down, no riders for preexisting conditions, and no one got their premiums hiked to cover their massive dependence on medical intervention. When no high risk category exists, then everyone is in high risk. This is the socialism of medical treatment. But the policy is not true socialism... yet. ObamaCare is actually a demonstration of fiscal fascism. Government doesn't provide the care or pay the medical expenses, but government selects preferred corporations and forces us to buy a policy from them. Government highly regulates them and dictates the type of coverage they provide. My college-age daughter doesn't need testosterone replacement therapy, but her policy must include it. I'm a 55 year old man and I don't plan on getting pregnant, but I have been told that my own coverage must include maternity coverage. |
