Police Abandon Part of Lawton, Socialists & Anarchists Take Over Roads

7/22/2019

Comments

The Oklahoma Dept. of Public Safety was in gross dereliction of duty this past weekend, when about 1500 defiant protesters and the American Civil Liberties Union gathered in the streets and highways of Lawton, Oklahoma.
What ensued for about 2 hours was a complete shutdown of federal interstate and municipal roads. One courageous supporter of the federal govt, Tim Harper, was illegally assaulted, corralled, detained, and harassed by several conspiring participants of the seditionists.
Harper remained quiet during his interaction, only seldomly and respectfully requesting the gang surrounding him to let him move on freely.  Harper is a licensed open carry citizen and he indicated that his personal firearm stayed in it's holster.
The seditionists shut down all traffic for most of the unlawful event, infuriating local residents who continually asked "Where is the law enforcement"? One local woman told news crews that emergency responders are not able to attend to crisis because of the rebellion taking place.
Picture
Democratic Socialists of America, through their OKC affiliate; were among those conspiring to take over the streets and highways near Fort Sill.

It appears that some Comanche Tribe members played an essential planning & coordination role in the event.
The seditionists continued to chant for shutting down border detention facilities, including the one being prepared at the US Army Fort Sill training base, just outside Lawton. the main entrance to the military based was shut down and police eventually shut down highway exits, as well, to accommodate the protesters.
Several crimes were committed in the events. Beside the city ordinances & federal crimes broken (which were many), the state criminal code was completely discarded and unenforced.
Harper continually asks to be left alone, but organizers tell him to leave the area because his" presence threatens them. At times Harper was joined by Adrian Otap, who was also blocked and harassed by another set of thugs.
Fox25 filed a video report.
United We Dream is an organizer of the event. Fox25 says that UWD listed the following groups as taking part in the sedition:
Dream Action Oklahoma, United We Dream, Black Lives Matter Oklahoma City, Democratic Socialists of America - Oklahoma City, Native Voice Network, Tsuru for Solidarity, Oklahoma Call for Reproductive Justice, Indigenous Environmental Network, Women’s March OK, American Indian Movement Indian Territory, NACA-Inspired Schools Network, The Majority, Workers Defense, Bend the Arc, Sunflower Community Action,Center for Popular Democracy, Sunrise Movement, The International Union of Painters and Allied Trades, About Face: Veterans Against War

"No politician 'checks off every box" in your list of issues. You have to prioritize and use personal discretion regarding every current and future issue that you can imagine. Then you have to also judge integrity & consistency. A candidate's openness to study the issues & courage to think for themselves. Then you need to review their honesty & work ethic.  I respect any voter's decision, when they've informed themselves and took voting seriously." - David Van Risseghem

SoonerPolitics.org is committed to informing & mobilizing conservative Oklahomans for civic reform & restored liberty. We seeks to utilize the efforts of all cooperative facets of the Conservative movement... Content of the diverse columns are solely at the discretion of the dozens of websites who create the content.   David Van Risseghem  is the founder of this platform.
Sooner Politics News is a platform, not a media site. All our bloggers get their feeds promoted regardless of content. As soon as We suppress or delete even one posting, we become an endorser of whatever We didn't censor..The publisher doesn't (and could not) logically agree with all the content, so we would not expect any rational reader to agree, either. What we do hope, is that readers will think for themselves, and at least be better informed of the issues, events, and values that our citizen journalists work hard to provide for free.. We automate much of the tasks so that our sources' content gets as much exposure as possible. We encourage constructive discussion & debate. The solution is more free speech, not less.
