 State GOP Convention: May 6th Dear Chairmen, Precinct Packets are ready! As promised, we have completely re-organized the precinct packets for 2017. Chose one of the 3 options below to download the new Precinct Packets.
The packets are organized into 2 sections. The first section is for the County Chairman and is numbered as County Chairman’s Page 1-10. These pages are information for you to organize your meetings and convention. There is a CALENDAR OF EVENTS for deadlines as well as the State’s activities through the State Convention. Please keep the list of contact information for help with your meetings and convention. |
| Many of you have your own forms and a system in place for your meetings. I am a firm believer in “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” but for those that would like to use it, we have a step by step guide for organizing and running the meetings. Once again, the main item we MUST have is the voter identification number for each delegate. We will be sending you a list with your delegates to the 2016 State Convention for you to update with your 2017 delegates. The second section is the pages you should print for each precinct chairman to use at their meeting. It includes the Official Call, instructions and the Calendar of Events for the State Convention and the State Convention committee meetings. We have made forms for registration, platform planks and changes to State Party Rules. You will need multiple copies of these forms. If you need help with computing the apportionment of delegates for each precinct, please let us know as we have a spreadsheet built to make it easier to apportion your delegates.
