Showdown At The Capitol Starts Monday.

  The Oklahoma Council on Public Affairs & Americans For Prosperity - Oklahoma are holding a workshop at the OKGOP State Convention. They are discussing tax policy, education funding, and other crucial issues.
​  John Tidwell of AFP-OK said the result of the proposed "Boren" tax will be an effective sales tax of over 10% for much of Oklahoma.
​  The legislative budget fight will likely take up all of the week and several faces at the capitol believe there's a strong possibility that the state will need a special session to complete the fiscal challenges.
