A Hostile exchange of words took place in the House Press box during the vote for the biggest tax increase in 25 years. As Speaker McCall left the House Voter Roll open to have his lieutenants work the room for more 'Yea' votes, he went to the press area of the Chamber and made statements to the media.
Rep Cory Williams challenged him, calling his words "political theater". To which McCall responded with sharp retorts. A reporter posted this exchange to twitter. We've posted them here. |
