Imagine a brain that is shared by Ted Kaczynski & George Wallace. that might help you start to make sense of the mindset which motivated the terrorist of El Paso. He was arrested for the Saturday morning murder of 20 and the wounding of several more. He made sure to publish an manifesto for posterity. It starts out with a biographical on himself.
Rather self-absorbed of him to promote himself over a cause he was willing to die for, isn't it? The 21 year old from a upperclass Allen, TX neighborhood seems rather fatalist about life in his version of the United States. And he does blame it on ethnic blending. It's classic 1960s Democrat (and KKK) mindset. His manifesto sounds like the talking points of a Richard Spencer speech. But then he launches on an environmental extremist rant and blames corporate interests for destroying the planet and depleting the earth of drinkable water. The infamous Unibamber, Ted Kaczynski, was a devout disciple of Al Gore's dire prophecies. He targeted academia and corporate facilities to do his mass killings. For well over a decade the Unibomber was on the loose. The inconsistencies of his thoughts led to a strange pattern of his terrors. Within hours the El Paso terrorist's manifesto was reposted all over cyberspace. We've posted a copy at this link. |
Instead, I see a fatalist who sought to lead a cause which maybe a few dozen fellow believers will support and join in. The point is, this fella is such an oddball of self-contradictions, that discrediting him can be done from a hundred different fronts.
But most importantly, his actions defeat his ideology. El Paso is a great and thriving city that predates the United States by over 100 years. It has always been a predominantly Hispanic city. It was part of Spain, then Mexico, then Texas, and for over 150 years it has been a patriotic US City. It has a crime rate that is 1/6th that of Tulsa, OK. In 2016, 12 people died in the Oklahoma City jail (county lockup). But only 16 people were murdered in the 670,000 population of the city of El Paso. That's just how peaceful of a city El Paso is.
Yes, just across the fence is Juarez, Mexico. Where about 800 murders occur in a typical year. This illustrates just how important fences can be for border security. Juarez is a lawless place where organized crime terrorizes the masses. Only a fence separates a great city from a terrible city. Even though the people are largely of the same ethnicity.
The point is, Hispanics are a great part of the United states and have been since before there was a United States. Targeting them for mass murder is the very essence of ignorant hatred of a race. Good folks all over the United States, of all political affiliations, will condemn this deliberately ignorant punk and be glad to see him discredited thoroughly, and punished severely.
