The Podcasting Explosion

Last night I drove through the night after a big weekend family event several states away. I had my podcast app loaded with some great political discussions & classic audio books. My mobile device read them to me in my earphone, as my family slept right through the long car ride.
Conservative media has been under a new round of censorship in recent days. When Senator Ted Cruz confronted Facebook founder, Mark Zuckerberg about the silencing of "Diamond & Silk", few of us even knew that the two sweet women were gone from social media's biggest forums.
When the silencing from liberal fascist platforms like Google, Facebook, Apple, and other intolerant bigots repeatedly occurs; they fail to provide even the decency of a notice to remove and secure their archives. The bruts simply delete the whole thing. It's essentially a hi-tech book burning. Alex Jones said that his entire archive on Google's Youtube servers had over 4 billion views! But they are gone.

Prodigy political scientist, Ben Shapiro packs more content into a 50 minute podcast than most other talkshow hosts spread over a 3 hour format.

Google, Facebook, & Apple sought to gain our trust by offering free content & server space. They told us how much safer it was to get out news & keep our intellectual property in their safekeeping. We found that trust to be ill-assigned this month.
For reasons such as these, many conservatives who stay engaged in contemporary issues are turning to the audio equivalent of a DVR. The radio podcast format is taking over more of the information industry.
Sooner Politics has tested several free apps for mobile devices and PCs. Some of them seek the same kind of content controls that social media sites have done. We highly recommend securing a device which the user can customize and manually add content to.

There are many podcasting device options and even more software applications for organizing and playing the content. But most of the apps make the same fundamental mistake of controlling the selections of podcast programming. This is exactly the concern which is now driving many conservatives away from social media platforms who have betrayed conservative media producers. Castbox.fm is currently our go-to recommendation.
It is

A free app, available for IOS or Android.
Allows the user to subscribe to any of their known podcasters by using their excellent search feature;
A user can also add their own content or load the link to any obscure (or otherwise excluded) podcaster. (hello, Alex Jones?)
The content can be audio only, or a video
The app works with chromecast or other remote playback devices, to replay or share on the TV or home sterio
An entire set of podcast libraries(sample) can be custom imported or exported via their OPML docking (see app settings)
content can be downloaded for playback in any coal mine, cave, or nuclear fallout bunker, where a wifi signal is not an option.

The benefits of a podcast over a radio or TV broadcast are several and significant. Some of you may not be comfortable with the latest smartphones or tablets. That's okay. You can have your grandson or the kid next door help you set up your account and then simply go to your webpage at Castbox.fm and enjoy your content off the website they create for every one of their subscribers (did I mention that the subscription to Castbox is free?).
