Tulsans felt a jolt and stirring for a few seconds, late Monday morning. Awaiting reports from USGS. UPDATE: It took nearly 20 minutes before the USGS had an initial report on the 11:11am quake. As suspected, it was near several petroleum wells, in northwestern Oklahoma, near Medford. There was an early morning 2.6 centered in the Winding Staircase mountains of S.E. Oklahoma, near Quinton. |
