It may not be the apology Ted Cruz was looking for, but Republican nominee, Donald Trump finally issued his first known public apology of the 2016 presidential race. While discussing the options Democrat Hillary Clinton had to choose from for VP, Trump finally mentioned Senator Elizabeth Warren, whom he'd given the dubious nickname of Pocahontas. He went on to detail the lack of personal accomplishment in Warren's political career. He told the North Carolina campaign rally that Warren had completely lied about her undocumented Cherokee heritage. He detailed how she resorted to the false heritage in order to get accepted in colleges and attain career goals in high education. |
