American society is far more auto-oriented than Europe, Africa, & South America. We love our mobility and the independence of owning an automobile. But govt leftists are now seeking to limit ownership of deadly weapons in the USA. Right now they are seeking to put obstacles in the way of buying self-protection items. One has to ask when the automobiles will be taken away from the average citizen Comparing Cars To GunsSimply put, one in every 18.2k guns produced a human death. But 1 in every 6.7k autos will produce a death, in one year. In 2021, there were 289.5 million registered autos in the USA. There were also 42,915 auto deaths. That means 1 in every 6.746 autos were involved in an auto fatality. In 2012 there were 5.49 deaths in the USA for every 100,000 firearms owned. That means 1 in every 18,215 firearms were involved in a firearms fatality. That statistic comes from www.gunpolicy.org. We must acknowledge that it's very questionable just how many operational firearms are owned in the USA. No one wants to reveal their protective firearms. If the US Constitution gave every free citizen a right to own & operate a vehicle, would leftists try to restrict that, too? |
