On Thursday afternoon, in Tulsa; several dozens of Trump supporters had already begun an early festival kickoff and canopy caravan on the front entrance to the BOK Arena. We rolled the video camera while greeting several of them to the city. While We were speaking to a group on midwesterners, a black young man is seen in the background sneaking up on a Floridian of Cuban descent.
The young black man (in an orange shirt) began punching the Cuban whose head was down. The bloody assault to his face was not responded to with return blows or use of weapons. |

The black man fled before he could be apprehended. There were no police present and it took more than 10 minutes before an officer arrived to take a statement. We almost immediately called the Tulsa 911 and were only on hold for about 2 minutes or less. I then went to see some local news reporters from KOTV (6) and KJRH (2), to see if they were interested in reporting the violent crime. They were not. I then told the cameraman from the AP, but I told him it was some Trump Supporters who beat up a young black man. He was immediately attentive and asked more. I then told him; "No, it's actually the other way around, but I have it on film. He then was no longer interested.
Fox23's Shae Rozzi called and said they are very interested in the story and are preparing for the 9pm news. But the victim said he will not be making any statements until Sunday, for his own security on the streets of Tulsa. I explained that to Shae and she completely understands his concerns. She said her interest is in the matter of sufficient public safety resources to protect our visitors.
Unless the police step up their presence, there will likely be people at the rally site tomorrow, carrying some form of self defense deterrents. Officer M. Franklin took the crime report from the beating victim, and we were there to discuss security concerns with the officer. We were told there are intelligence reports saying that the Black Panthers will be downtown on Friday. These visitors deserve our community's support, and protection. If the police and media are not going to show sympathy to the traveling guests to Tulsa, perhaps some local Trump supporters will step up to the need. OKGOP sources said that some Biker Groups are also arriving on Friday.
In case Youtube decides "this is too violent to publish" we're also loading it to UGE Tube.
